Notes
patches:
"Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues" last 24.5 seconds
"Black Throated Wind" first 13 seconds
"Space" 1:27 - 1:33
"Stella Blue" 7:17 - 7:22
patch source:
Schoeps CMC34 (cardiod) > Oade Mic Preamp > Panasonic sv255 DAT Recorder > DAT Master (shnid 83493)
Transfer: DAT from the collection of Todd Evans - todd@bluedakota.com
DAT > TASCAM DA-20 (S/PDIF out) -> M-Audio Firewire Solo Interface -> Soundforge 8.0
- Tape flips and pauses between tracks have been crossfaded
- Seamless transition between discs 2 and 3
Comments:
- Unfortunately John asked a stranger to run his deck for a while, whilst he went to visit friends. He
thought he was being helpful by pausing between tracks and fading in and out to save tape. Hence
there are a number of patches/crossfades which I wouldn't normally expect from one of John's masters.
- * First verse only
My thanks to John, and the stranger :-)
